Scriptelier support
A little help
getting back to writing.
Scriptelier is preparing for its first Mac App Store release. Managed AI is not yet open for public use.
Get in touch
Public support contact details will be available before the app launches. For now, the guides below cover the current release preparation.
When requesting help, include your app and macOS versions and a brief description. For billing, a request or transaction reference helps. Do not send passwords, API keys or full manuscripts.
Keep a copy of your work
Documents are saved on your device. Export important drafts and include your local workspace in your backups. Deleting your managed account does not delete these local files.
Manage or cancel a subscription
In Scriptelier, open account settings and choose Manage Subscription. You can also manage subscriptions in your Apple Account. Cancellation stops renewal; the current paid term and remaining purchased credit stay available. Apple’s cancellation instructions.
Restore a purchase
Use the same Apple and Scriptelier accounts, then choose Restore Purchases in account settings. Pending delivery retries without granting the same transaction twice. A recharge belongs to the account used for that purchase.
Request an Apple refund
Visit Apple’s Report a Problem and follow its refund process. Apple decides eligibility; the backend applies the verified result to the related credit purchase.
Delete your account
Open Scriptelier’s account settings and choose Delete Account. Apple reauthentication verifies ownership. You may see a pending state while cleanup finishes. Subscription cancellation and deletion of local documents are separate steps.
When AI is unavailable
Managed AI needs macOS 27 and supported App Attest. An exhausted balance, a service pause and a daily usage limit are different conditions. Check the message in the app and the service status page. On-device AI has its own hardware and system requirements; local writing does not depend on the managed service.
